GENERAL ABILITY TEST IN ENGINEERING

Selection Plan of the Examination:  The examination is of two parts:  (a) Written examination (b) Personality test     PART I: The written examination will comprise two sections Section I consisting only of objective type questions which is of 2 hours duration and Section II conventional papers of 3 hours duration each. Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering disciplines, viz., Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.  PART II: Personality Test carrying a maximum of 200 marks pertaining; to candidates who qualify on the basis of the written examination.
